My Dentist ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
We collect information you provide directly — name, email, phone number, date of birth, location, and profile photo. For dentists, this includes professional details and verification documents. We also collect usage data such as appointments, messages, bills, and reward activity.
We use your data to operate the Platform: to enable bookings, facilitate communication between patients and clinics, process payments, run the rewards program, verify dentists, and improve our services.
When you book or message a clinic, relevant information (such as your name and appointment details) is shared with that clinic. We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (e.g. cloud hosting, image storage, payment processors) strictly to operate the Platform.
Profile photos, clinic gallery images and verification documents are stored on our own secure servers. Verification documents submitted by dentists are used only for verification purposes and are never shown publicly.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may access and update your account information at any time from within the app. You can delete your account from the app (Profile → Delete account) or by following the steps at mydentistpk.com/delete-account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile details, photos, uploaded documents, messages, notifications, saved dentists and payment methods, and cancels upcoming appointments. Records of completed appointments, bills and reviews are kept in anonymized form (no name, contact details or photo) because clinics need them for their financial and treatment records.
The Platform is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children without parental consent.
